Abstract
This research aims: (1) to describe the realization of directive speech acts of Sobokerto State Elementary School educators with a Javanese cultural background: sociopragmatic studies, (2) to describe types of directive speech acts of elementary school educators Sobokerto State has a Javanese cultural background: sociopragmatic studies, and (3) puts forward strategies for directive speech acts for educators. Sobokerto State has a Javanese cultural background: sociopragmatic studies. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data collection uses documentation methods and listening methods followed by note-taking techniques. Data analysis in this study used the matching and agih method. The matching method is data analysis carried out with tools that are outside the language and are not part of the language in question. The results of the research show that directive speech acts in the school environment at Sobokerto State Elementary School with a cultural background consist of commands, advice, pleading, asking, criticism, requests, appeals, notifications, hopes and directive speech acts please. The directive speech act has a speech use strategy used in the speech of elementary school education staff with a Javanese language background, which consists of direct and indirect speech.
