Abstract

Every football team, both domestically and abroad, must have a group of supporters who are fanatical and stand in one community. In Indonesia, there are many names of football supporters who loyally support their proud team. The feelings of happiness and euphoria of supporters of a club that wins a match often makes supporters of the opposing club that loses feel annoyed. One of the incidents that occurred as a result of supporter fanaticism in Indonesia was when Arema played a match with Persebaya. After the incident that killed 135 victims in the Kanjuruhan Tragedy, many Aremania Supporter groups officially stopped their activities from supporting Arema. One of them is Aremania Klaten which stated to stop. With this phenomenon, the researcher intends to find out and conduct research related to Aremania Klaten fanaticism after the Kanjuruhan tragedy. The aim of this research is to find out the fanaticism of Aremania Klaten supporters after the 2022 Kanjuruhan tragedy. This research is considered qualitative research with a survey research design. In the process of collecting data using observation techniques, interviews and questionnaires. The object of this research is all aremania in Klaten Regency and the research subject is Klaten aremania which was active after the Kanjuruhan tragedy. The data analysis technique used in this research is an interactive analysis technique. . This research involved 5 informants for interviews and 100 informants for filling out questionnaires. The data obtained in this research are the opinions of each source. Aremania Korwil Klaten was founded on May 1 2011. Activities carried out by AKK include holding away days, participating in the Aremania Central Java-DIY gathering, carrying out social actions for each other and others, and holding group viewing events. Aremania Korwil Klaten members have attributes that are used to cover Arema, including jerseys, scrafts and flags. They also watched Arema matches both live and via live broadcasts broadcast on TV. AKK members stated that they were disappointed by the tragedy because the incident caused 135 deaths and many victims were injured. They hope that the Aremania Utas presidium will thoroughly investigate the Kanjuruhan tragedy case until all justice is given to the victims.
