Abstract

The divorce rate in Indonesia continues to increase every year. The percentage of divorced women in 2021 reached 12.83%, and men reached 4.32%. Every divorce will have a small to large impact on family members, especially children. From several research results, it can be understood that divorce is a social phenomenon that can have a negative impact on the couple themselves and on the condition of the child. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between coping stress and the level of religiosity with the resilience of students with a background of divorced parents. The population in this study was 60 students of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta with a background of divorced parents. This study uses a saturated sample technique, so that the entire population is used as a sample. This study uses a quantitative method with a data collection technique using a Likert scale on the scale of coping stress, religiosity and resilience. The analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of coping stress and the level of religiosity on resilience (0.000 <0.050). There is a significant positive relationship between coping stress and resilience (0.003<0.050). There is a significant positive relationship between religiosity and resilience (0.000<0.050). It can be concluded that all hypotheses in this study are accepted, which means that the higher the coping stress and religiosity level of students, the higher their resilience.
