Abstract

A student should be an agent of change, students must have the intellectual capacity to advance science. However, these ideal conditions are difficult to meet because students often face many academic demands and high expectations from people around them, causing academic burnout. This study aims to determine the relationship between spiritual well-being and peer interaction on academic burnout in students. This quantitative research uses a quantitative correlation method. A total of 167 psychology students of the Class of 2021 became volunteers in data collection using incidental sampling techniques. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression. The study's results confirmed that the major hypothesis is acceptable, as evidenced by the relationship between spiritual well-being and peer interaction on academic burnout because it was obtained by sig. < 0.05. At the same time, the minor hypothesis has a Sig. of < 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an influence of spiritual well-being and peer interaction on academic burnout. This research can be used by considering the coaching and debriefing regarding spiritual well-being, peer interaction, and academic burnout and for researchers to further research using other variables that affect academic burnout to produce maximum effective contributions.
