Abstract
The main system in supporting the performance of the reach stacker is the engine which functions to move the unit. One of the systems that supports the performance of the reach stacker is the fuel system on the engine. The fuel system functions to distribute fuel into the combustion chamber while the engine is working. If the engine is damaged, the unit will not be able to work properly because the engine is the main driver of the reach stacker. reach stacker unit, there are cases of damage to the engine with thick white smoke appearing on the muffler and when the unit operates it seems like the engine is limping. The inspection procedure for the Kalmar DRG 450 reach stacker unit is to carry out a visual inspection, then carry out a disassembly process to check the components to determine any damage that has occurred to the injector. The analysis results show that the injector cannot carry out the fuel misting process while running so it is necessary to replace the damaged component. Based on the calculation analysis, it is known that the fogging speed is 181.32 m/sec and the fogging hole diameter is 0,57 mm.
