Abstract

Central Java Province, especially Boyolali Regency, has various tourist destinations such as cultural tourism, natural tourism, historical tourism and religious tourism. The most prominent tourism potential in Boyolali Regency is its natural tourism. Selo District is one of the sub-districts in Boyolali Regency. Selo District has beautiful natural resources with views of Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu and there are various tourist destinations. The rich natural tourism potential encourages tourists to visit, so facilities such as accommodation are very much needed. Even though there is accommodation such as villas and homestays, there are still limitations in facilities, infrastructure and a lack of good architectural concepts to provide a place for recreation and tourism. The aim of the Resort Hotel with a Green Architecture Approach in Selo, Boyolali Regency is to be able to add to the recreation and tourism destination by offering various complete facilities and their advantages in the view of the resort hotel overlooking Mount Merapi. The construction of this hotel resort carries a design concept with a green architectural and modern approach. Thus, the construction of a resort hotel with a green architecture approach in Selo, Boyolali Regency will be a solution for tourists who want to stay overnight with well-conceptualized infrastructure and facilities.
