Abstract

Undercarriage is the lower part of a crawler tracktor that functions to hold loads, direct, and as a support unit in which there are several parts, one of which is the Track Adjuster. This analysis aims to determine the types of damage, and the causes of damage to the HITACHI ZAXIS 200 Excavator Track Adjuster, as well as taking corrective steps on damaged parts. Damage that occurs in the Track Adjuster of the HITACHI ZAXIS 200 Excavator unit is on the Piston Rod component, experiencing rust so that it cannot work perfectly, Seal adjuster, because the seal has experienced brittle. Cylinder Rod, has a leak which causes the Piston Rod to not be pushed. This was discovered during inspection after disassembly. The repair carried out on the Track Adjuster is to replace the Track Adjuster because the Maintenance process has previously been carried out and in this case there is damage to the Track Adjuster components again, so the Track Adjuster is replaced.
