Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the process, application of the 4P approach, and forms of strengthening student creativity through extracurricular Scouting to form good citizens at MTs Negeri 1 Surakarta. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers used an interactive model for data analysis. The research results show that: 1) the process of strengthening creativity through Scout extracurricular activities is implemented with four process stages, namely preparation, deposition, illumination, and verification with aspects of good citizenship that are formed, namely carrying out rights and obligations (civic knowledge), discipline (civic disposition), and communication skills (civic skills). 2) the 4P approach in strengthening student creativity through Scout extracurriculars, which consists of person, driver, process, and product with aspects of good citizenship that are formed, namely democracy (civic knowledge), responsibility (civic disposition), and participation skills (civic skills). 3) forms of student creativity in Scout extracurriculars in the form of ideas and products with aspects of good citizenship that are formed, namely unity and oneness (civic knowledge), obeying regulations (civic disposition), and decision-making skills (civic skills).
