Abstract
This study aims to determine the correlation between self efficacy and emotion regulation with academic anxiety in students during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This research was using sample amounted 120 students come from Faculty of Psychology Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta whom experienced online learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Accidental sampling was used as the sampling technique in this study. This research is a quantitative study and the instruments of this study are self efficacy scale, emotion regulation scale, and academic anxiety scale. Data collected in the form of a questionnaire distributed via online google form link. The data analysis used multiple linear regression. The result of the analysis show that there is a significant correlation between self efficacy and emotion regulation with academic anxiety in students during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a value of F = 26,136 sig 0,00. The effective contribution of self efficacy and emotion regulation variables to academic anxiety is 30,9%, with details the contribution of self efficacy variable at 10,5% and emotion regulation variable at 20,4%.
