Abstract
Occupational Safety and Health is a thought and effort to ensure integrity and perfection, both physical and spiritual. Implementation of 5R is a system for minimizing waste and optimizing productivity by creating a systematic, neat and orderly workplace through the use of visual cues to obtain effective operational results if done consistently. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the 5R culture in the spare parts stock warehouse of PT. X Concrete Factory. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 6 workers (one HSE, one warehouse coordinator and four workers) in spare parts stock warehouse PT. X Concrete Factory. The data collection methods used were observation in the spare parts stock warehouse, in-depth face-to-face interviews with subjects who understood the implementation of 5R (Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent), and documentation. The analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the spare parts stock warehouse of PT. X Concrete Factory has implemented the principles of conciseness, care and diligence but the principles of neatness and cleanliness are still lacking because there are still piles of safety shoes and safety helmets that have not been arranged neatly and there is still a lot of dust on the upper floor of the warehouse which is rarely cleaned . In conclusion, the spare parts stock warehouse has implemented 5R, but there are several things that still need to be improved. Therefore, storage space for safety shoes and safety helmets is needed, direct socialization is carried out by the warehouse coordinator regarding 5R, changes in the mindset and behavior of workers are needed in implementing the 5R principles.
