Abstract

This thesis is the result of research that describes the results of the Merdeka 2023 Entrepreneurial Program carried out by practitioners during a series of activities. The Merdeka Entrepreneurship internship program is a forum to help students gain experience in the real world of work and can develop their interest in entrepreneurship. Before running this program, students or practitioners gain knowledge from mentors who are experienced in the entrepreneurial field. Things that need to be understood when starting and running a business, namely an Entrepreneurial Orientation and Accounting Understanding of the business idea. During the internship program, of course, it is inseparable from the business problems faced. This can train the ability of students or practitioners to identify problems and find effective solutions to overcome them. In a dynamic environment, Entrepreneurship Orientation and Accounting Understanding are very important for the survival of a business. With the existence of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Accounting Understanding by students, it can create better company performance. Independent entrepreneurship is one of the steps forward in building the future and has the potential for young Indonesian entrepreneurs.
