Abstract
Energy consumption today is increasing. Fossil energy that is used continuously will run low, so the development of renewable energy is needed. Renewable energy has the potential to overcome the availability of fossil energy that is dwindling from year to year. One of the potential energy to be developed in Indonesia is solar energy and wind energy. Both can be put together into a hybrid power plant using photovoltaic and wind turbine. In the design of this plant using photovoltaic with a capacity of 60 Wp and a DC generator with a capacity of 40 Watt which will later be used for 15 Watt lamp loads on the rooftop of the house. The combination of hybrid power plants from photovoltaic and wind turbines in three consecutive days of testing results obtained maximum average power test results of 18.98 Watts and 12.226 Watts. The study also compared manual measurements with automated measurements using sensors. The average percentage of error between measuring instruments and automatic is not much different, which is around 0.082% so that the accuracy rate is also high, reaching 99.918%.
