Abstract

Independent Entrepreneurship Program, an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Indonesian Culture, Research and Technology, aims to encourage enthusiasm entrepreneurship among students. Provide opportunities for students who are interested in developing their business ideas with guidance from supervisors and MSME mentors. This program significant in increasing students' motivation and interest in entrepreneurship Muhammadiyah Surakarta university. Through this program, students trained to think creatively in facing business challenges, studying interactions with consumers, pricing strategies and costs production, as well as how to obtain profitable profits. Program lasted for five months with various activities, such as seminars, workshops, internships and exhibitions. It is hoped that this program will continue developed as an ongoing initiative with strategic improvements implementation
