Abstract
Adolescents experience significant growth, both physically and psychosocially, which occurs rapidly. During this time, the ability to survive and adapt to change is critical to resolving the developmental challenges faced. Strong resilience during adolescence is the key to avoiding obstacles in their development. Although teenagers often face problems and difficulties that can cause stress, resilience plays an important role in responding to these disorders in various ways, including interacting with the environment around them, thereby helping to change their behavior. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and peer support and resilience in vocational school students. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting data in the form of scales, namely the self-esteem scale, peer support scale, and resilience scale. The subjects used in this research were all students of SMKIT Smart Informatika Surakarta in classes X, XI and XII with a total of 157 students. This research subject was taken using population study techniques. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of SPSS software. The results of this research show that there is a very significant relationship between self-esteem and peer support and resilience, namely with a result of R = 0.613 and a Sig value. 0.000 (p < 0.01). Then self-esteem with resilience has a value of r = 0.567 with Sig. 0.000 (p < 0.01) which means there is a positive and significant relationship between self-esteem and resilience in vocational school students. Then peer support with resilience has a value of r = 0.487 with Sig. 0.000 (p < 0.01) which means there is a positive and significant relationship between peer support and resilience in vocational school students. The effective contribution of the independent variables in this research was 37.6% simultaneously. With details, the self-esteem variable has an influence on the resilience variable by 24.43%, while peer support has an influence on the resilience variable by 13.14% and 62.4% is influenced by other variables. The implication of this research is that it can support teachers' efforts to increase student resilience effectively.
