Abstract

In the world of education, student mental health is a crucial concern. Research in Yogyakarta shows low well-being (47.2%) and moderate stress levels (71.3%) among students. High stress adversely affects memory, concentration, and academic performance. Exercise and meditation can reduce stress; activities like jogging, cycling, and dancing alleviate anxiety, while meditation calms the mind. Community centers are designed for social and creative activities, enhancing mental health. Neuroarchitecture-based community center design aims to boost mental health through environmental interaction. Yogyakarta, as a student city, has a student population of 78.53%. The goal of this design is to provide a space for stress management and enhance students' psychological well-being, supporting personal development and academic performance. Comparative studies on community centers were utilized in the design process. Based on these studies, it can be concluded that in improving overall student conditions, ensuring that the facilities built can effectively serve students' immediate needs.
