Abstract

The problem experienced by students is that they have an attitude that tends to lack manners, low discipline, lack of interest in learning, and a low level of practicing religious teachings. These conditions and backgrounds result in students having poor character in their development. Therefore, it is necessary to form good morals. One way to form good morals or behavior is by using the application of P5 values (Project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students) during Islamic religious education learning. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of the Pancasila (P5) Improvement Project in PAI Learning on the moral education of students of SMP N 1 Narmsari Jepara in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was conducted on seventh grade students at SMP Negri 1 Narmsari Jepara with a total of 50 respondents. The data collection technique in this study was to use a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is based on descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate the influence of P5 in PAI learning at SMP Negri 1 Nalumsari on student moral formation. Based on the results of the correlation between the two variables, it can be seen that the correlation is positive or significant. Looking at the result of the amount of rxy in the product moment correlation test (0.821, in the range of 0.70 to 0.90), this positive correlation falls into the category of strong or high correlation. That is, by using P5 in PAI learning, students will be able to practice and improve moral behavior in accordance with the teacher's teachings during learning and achieve moral education in accordance with the vision and mission of the school.
