Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the absence of a definite standard of evaluation of learning morals for children with special needs, despite getting services in inclusive schools. This study aims to determine how the process of implementing learning evaluation in grade 8 moral creed subjects at Al Islam 1 Junior High School in Surakarta and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of moral creed learning evaluation for children with special needs (ABK). The object of this research is the principal, the head of curriculum, the moral creed teacher and the teacher in charge of children with special needs accompanied by field data that can support this research. This research uses a type of field research using a descriptive phenomenological approach. While the data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and document studies. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study that in the implementation of learning evaluation has the same guidelines and stages between children with special needs and regular children, it's just that in giving scores the teacher provides tolerance based on the maximum ability of the child. In addition, in the implementation of learning evaluation for grade 8 special needs children at Al Islam 1 Surakarta Junior High School there are internal and external supporting factors, including teacher background, teacher experience, cooperation with other agencies and from the students themselves. While the inhibiting factors internally or externally include, among others, the surrender of parents who give the responsibility of moral creed completely to the teacher and the slowness of students in receiving learning.
