Abstract

Many thefts often appear in the environment around us so home security is an important aspect. The development of increasingly sophisticated technology provides home security system solutions that can be monitored using a cell phone or smartphone connected to the internet. From the smartphone we can use it as an Internet Of Things (IoT), based home security monitoring tool, With ESP32 CAM connected to the internet and telegram we can send images or videos remotely via the telegram application. To add to the function of this tool is added PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor to detect movement then warning alarms in the form of buzzers and doorlocks to open and lock doors. As for the results of the trials on the PIR sensor configuration, video recording in AVI(Audio Video Interleave) and telegram bot commands went well. To maximize the function of this tool, it is recommended to provide a tool that can adjust the direction of the camera, lights to clarify shooting at night, and a mini PIR sensor to detect movement more accurately.
