Abstract
Gapuro Clothing Store is one of the MSMEs engaged in selling clothing needs. In some of the work in this MSME, it still relies on human labor, especially for manual handling activities in the form of lifting clothes to warehouse shelves or to distribution cars. This research was conducted to evaluate work postures and loads that are at risk of musculoskeletal injuries to workers. The methods used for evaluation are RULA and NIOSH. Both methods are continuous to find the ideal work posture and recommended load. The data taken shows that the RULA grand score is at level 7 and the NIOSH Lifting Index value is in the range of 1-3 which means there is a high risk of musculoskeletal injury. Recommendations for improvements made are adjusting work postures and adding facilities to assist work. The results obtained were a decrease in the RULA grand score to level 2 and the NIOSH Lifting Index value was below 1.
