Abstract
Landslides are a fairly frequent disaster in Indonesia, including in Gembong District. This research aims to analyze the distribution of landslide vulnerability in Gembong District, Pati Regency in 2022, as well as analyze the population's vulnerability to landslides in the area in the same period. The analysis method involves collecting primary data through field surveys and visual observations, as well as secondary data in the form of topographic and rainfall maps. Using vulnerability and vulnerability indices, this research evaluates factors such as topography, land use and rainfall as potential determinants of landslide risk. In addition, the population's age and gender are also evaluated as determining factors in their vulnerability to disasters. The research results show that landslide susceptibility in Gembong District is influenced by several parameters, such as rainfall and various types of soil. Rainfall in Gembong District is classified into five classes, ranging from very dry to very wet. The types of soil found were also diverse, including brown Mediterranean complex, litosol, reddish brown Mediterranean, gray grumusol, brown andosol, litosol association, and dark gray grumusol. Slope slope, which is also an important parameter, is divided into five classes, ranging from flat to very steep. Landslide susceptibility in Gembong District is grouped into three classes: low, medium and high, with the medium class dominating an area of 3485 Ha. In calculating population vulnerability, several factors influence, including geographic location, community unpreparedness, rainfall, land use, age, gender and health conditions. The population's vulnerability to landslides in Gembong District is divided into two classes: low and medium, with the conclusion that Gembong District has a relatively low level of population vulnerability.
