Abstract

Kudus Regency is one of the strategic areas in the economic sector in the North Coast region of Java. Kudus is located on the North Pantura route, but is relatively young in its development. Its strategic location provides a lot of potential for regional development. Kudus has diverse creative economic potential and communities in the creative industry sector where many young people are members of creative communities who create their own handicraft products. However, there is a lack of assistance from local government and there is no adequate space to develop creative industry and community activities that have existing potential. In support of existing public facilities for creative industry and community activities, a Creative and Community Space Kudus building was designed which aims to provide the facilities needed by users in creative industry activities such as space for training, education and recreation activities as well as determining an appropriate and strategic location. Focuses on the craft industry and creative design. The building was designed with an expressionist architectural approach to express all forms of creativity possessed by young people so as to create a creative space that accommodates all creative activities.
