Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, which has been going on for more than 2 years, has had an impact on changing learning methods, which were previously done offline to online, and back again to offline. These changes can make students feel pressured and eventually lead to stress. The research aims to examine the role of social support, adherence to health protocols, and stress coping strategies on student stress levels during a pandemic. This research uses quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were 172 students, with the criteria for grades 8 and 9 of SMP N 1 Tasikmadu, and were willing to fill out the research questionnaire. Subject taking technique using incidental sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire. The validity of the study used item validity, with the aiken v value of the variable stress level (0.60-0.85), social support (0.75-0.85), adherence to health protocols (0.70-0.90), and stress coping strategies (0.65-0.95). Reliability was obtained from Cronbach Alpha, with values from the stress level scale (0.607), social support (0.926), adherence to health protocols (0.618), stress coping strategies (0.789). The analysis technique used was multiple regression using the SPSS program. The results showed that there was no a significant effect between adherence to health protocols, social support, and stress coping strategies with stress levels.
