Abstract
School Health Business is an effort in the education unit to instill, grow, develop and improve the ability to live healthy, and the degree of health of students by implementing the UKS Triad. School age is the right time to instill the value of healthy living habits that have the potential to be agents of change to encourage PHBS in schools, homes, and communities. UKS is one of the right facilities in schools to convey health messages and a forum for health programs in schools. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with student participation in the UKS program. This study used observational quantitative research method with crossectional approach. This research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Special Program Kottabarat Surakarta with respondents as many as 179 students. Respondents were taken using accidental sampling and data analysis using Chi-square. The results of the analysis showed that there was no relationship between students' knowledge about PHBS and participation in the UKS program at SMPPK Kottabarat Surakarta (p-value = 0,443), and there was no relationship between students' attitudes towards PHBS and participation in the UKS program at SMPPK Kottabarat Surakarta Surakarta (p-value = 0,922). It is hoped that future researchers will be able to develop research and review the factors of student participation in the UKS program in other areas.
