Abstract

Teaching and learning activities carried out in class by teachers by teaching using interesting learning media to increase students' interest in learning is a teacher's innovation in enlivening the atmosphere of teaching and learning activities in class. This research was conducted at Karangpandan Karanganyar High School. This research aims to (1) Develop documentary videos on understanding Indonesian Natural Resources Management material for class XI students (2) Analyze the feasibility of documentary video materials after using learning with documentary videos. Using the ADDIE model. The first stage is the analysis stage, at the analysis stage in this research is knowing the level of needs such as analysis of material needs, design of the desired learning documentary video. The second stage is design, in this second stage the researcher designs a learning documentary video. The second stage is design to develop students' needs for the material. In the third stage, namely development, at this development stage the media that has been designed is then developed using Filmora software. Then the media that has been developed will be tested on practicing geography teachers and experts. Due to research restrictions, research into the development of documentary video learning media only reached the third stage, namely development. This research did not reach the fourth and fifth stages, namely Implementation and Evaluation. The population in this research was 61 class XI students and 5 geography teachers. This research uses data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The results of material experts obtained an average value of 83.7%, the results of media experts obtained an average value of 84%, the criteria are very suitable for use. The results of the final research carried out by practitioners of 5 geography teachers had an average score of 84.2%, a very suitable criterion for use.
