Abstract

Haritaatman Center: Mental Health Rehabilitation Center with an Art-Therapy Approach is a project that proposes the establishment of a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center with an Art-Therapy Approach in response to the need for an innovative approach to mental health care. With mental health issues on the rise, therapeutic environments that encourage healing and growth are needed. The main goal is to create a therapeutic atmosphere that improves mental and emotional well-being for people dealing with mental health problems. To achieve this, the design concept elegantly combines art therapy concepts with architectural components. The design integrates art therapy principles into building elements, including color, texture, lighting and natural sounds. This is hoped to be achieved by providing a welcoming and calming environment that supports the recovery and rehabilitation of mental health patients. This project aims to contribute to mental health rehabilitation and overall wellbeing by utilizing an art therapy approach. In short, this effort offers a major step forward in changing the paradigm of mental health care, highlighting the profound impact of art therapy in assisting mental health rehabilitation and promoting general well-being.
