Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the procedure for using podcasts and the results in learning to write poetry using podcast media. This research was conductes to develop media in online learning. This type of research. The data from this study is the value of learning outcomes as well as information about the use of podcasts as a medium in learning. The data sources in this research are divided into primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data sources are the results of observations and interviews, while the secondary data sources are articles, journals, dan websites related to research. The subject in this study were students who contributed to the learning process. The object in this study was podcasts media. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, questionnaires and field notes. Then the data analysis technique in this study used interactive data analysis. The results of this study showed the average value of the pre-test and post-test in 2 meeting, namely 71.8 was categorixed as good. There is an average value of the results of the pre-test and post-test of 2.9 from the value of 69.3 to 72.4. while the results of students poetry writing also in increased by 4 points, from 67.2 to 71.2. there also several stages of podcast creation, namely: 1) Material Analysis, 2) Podcast media design. The procedure for applying Podcasts was carried out during 3 meetings of learning to write poetry.
