Abstract

The Qur'an is the word of Allah which must be studied as a guide in life. Currently, there is a taklim assembly as a forum for learning the tahsin of the Koran. The use of a method for studying the Koran is very necessary to make it easier to understand the material. One method that is developing is the Tilawati Method. This research aims to describe the implementation of the Tilawati Method and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Tilawati Method at the Al-Muttaqin Purwoharjo Taklim Assembly. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach through case studies. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman model analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research found that the implementation of the Tilawati Method at the Al-Muttaqin Taklim Council included, firstly, planning which was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Tilawati Center in the form of learning techniques, book material volumes 1 to 6, as well as supporting materials. Second, the implementation is held every Monday at 19.15 - 20.50 WIB. The stages in implementing the learning method include the ustaz saying hello, delivering arbā'in hadith material/motivation/memorization of the Al-Quran, reading the opening prayer, reading the letters through a 5-page display, reading the 1-page Tilawati book, reading the closing prayer, and ending with greetings. Third, learning evaluation in the form of evaluating page increases when going to the next page and volume increases when you have finished reading one volume. Supporting factors for implementing the Tilawati Method include motivation, intelligence, and environmental conditions, and. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are hearing, vision, memory which weakens with age and the teacher/facilitator.
