Abstract
A piston type pump is a pump that moves back and forth. This type of pump is useful for sucking and pushing fluid to move it somewhere. This analysis aims to determine the type of damage to the hydraulic pump on the truck crane / mounted crane, and find out repair steps for the pump. The inspection procedure is carried out by carrying out visual analysis. Visual inspection is also carried out on hoses, seals and bearing diameter measurements. Next, an analysis of the type of damage to the pump is carried out. The results of the analysis showed that there was damage to the bearing part. The bearing itself functions as a bearing on the shaft so that the shaft can rotate optimally. Damage to bearings is usually caused by the quality of the oil in the pump being inadequate, resulting in wear and tear on the bearings. The second possibility is that the damage could occur due to age. Problems and wear can be reduced by applying proper maintenance to the bearings. The important thing is to carry out regular maintenance of the components on the unit.
