Abstract
Adolescence is a very crucial stage of individual development. Problems with students where students are required to quickly adapt to the environment. Santri here are meant to be students who study in Islamic boarding schools. A person's adjustment is influenced by several factors, namely physical conditions, growth and maturity, psychological conditions, area conditions, level of religiosity and culture. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and social support with students' self-adjustment. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The subjects of this study were Nurul Islam Tengran Islamic Boarding School students aged 16-18 years, totaling 101 respondents. Sampling technique with quota sampling. Data analysis technique with multiple regression analysis technique. Based on the results of the analysis obtained there is no relationship between emotional intelligence and social support with self-adjustment. Based on the empirical average, the categories of emotional intelligence and social support with self-adjustment are moderate. Effective contribution from the results of data analysis where R2 = 0.293% with details of the contribution of the variable emotional intelligence 29.3% and social support 0.08% while 70.62% is influenced by other variables.
