Abstract

In living life in this world, we need a solid grip and foundation in this life so that we have a strong foundation in living a good life in this world or the hereafter. Education is the beginning of the growth of human civilization to know and understand everything that exists in this world, so religious education has a very significant role in forming knowledgeable, religious, and pious people to Allah SWT. As an agricultural country, Indonesia has abundant natural resources and is believed to be able to boost the country's economy. But the quality of these natural resources is also influenced by human behavior, at this time there are still some human behaviors that cause a decrease in the quality of these natural resources. So the design of this building will focus on Islamic boarding schools that are used as learning centers for Islamic religious education that can maintain natural quality and have food independence for these Islamic boarding schools. In the design of this Islamic boarding school using a sustainable architecture approach with this approach it is expected to be able to maintain nature well. And for food self-sufficiency using agro-tourism activity methods that utilize agriculture and animal husbandry managed by Islamic boarding schools as tourist objects, the surrounding community is also invited to contribute to agro-tourism activities by creating tourist tracks whose destinations will later be owned by the community itself.
