Abstract
The formation of a strong character based on Pancasila among students is very important in building the next generation of a nation that is of good quality, has a sense of love for the motherland, respects diversity, and is able to uphold the values of diversity. In this context, it is important to find the right way to apply religious values, especially Islam, as the dominant religious education in Indonesia, without sacrificing the spirit of Pancasila which has become the basis of the state. One approach that can be used to achieve this goal is through religious moderation. Within the scope of religious education, religious moderation is relevant for teaching Islamic messages that are tolerant and respectful of differences, thus creating a generation of students who internalize Pancasila values well. This study aims to: describe the implementation of the values of Islamic religious education in the Pancasila Student Profile at SMA Negeri 1 Weleri. The research method used is this type of research is field research. Based on the results and discussion, there are three discussion points including: Implementation, related to the implementation of PAI learning values in the Pancasila student profile which consists of one discussion covering implementation in PAI learning. The discussion in PAI learning is based on the semester 2 teaching module for class X for 5 meetings and the learning achievements of PAI (Phase E) Al-Qur'an and Hadith. The implementation or implementation of instilling the values of Islamic religious education is divided into two, including: 1) the implementation of Pancasila student profile values in PAI learning which includes the dimensions of a) faith, piety to God Almighty, and noble character, b) global diversity , c) work together, d) independent, e) critical reasoning, f) creative. 2) the implementation of instilling the values of religious moderation in PAI learning, contains nine values including tolerance (tasamuh), justice ('adl), dialogue (munwashah), moderation (wasatiyah), humanity (insaniyah), harmony (musawah), freedom of religion (hurriyah), diversity (tasyayyud), peace-loving (hubbul salam).
