Abstract

One of the influences caused by Covid-19 is from the education side. Schools that were initially conducted face-to-face have then switched to online (online) which is none other than the result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is inseparable from students who must always be able to adjust to the sosial environment according to existing demands. Going through these difficult conditions is a challenge for students in struggling to adjust to their sosial environment. The purpose of this research was conducted to describe the sosial adjustment of Kartasura 1 Middle School students in the post-pandemic period. This study used a qualitative approach to 5 students from SMP N 1 Kartasura who received recommendations from the BK and had problems within themselves that affected their sosial adjustment to their surroundings. The process of collecting data researchers used semi-structured interviews. The data analysis process in this study uses descriptive narrative analysis. The results of the study stated that the way students adapt to their sosial environment with various kinds of conditions depends on how these students respond to the problems they face at school. Based on this, it can be concluded that the relationship with the closest sosial beings at school influences students to sosialize and get a role in themselves in the surrounding environment. The implication of this research is to increase insight regarding the differences between students' sosial adjustments that are happening at this time after the pandemic period which has had a long impact on Indonesia as well as providing new knowledge to related parties.
