Abstract
The background of this research is the lack of improvement in the memorization of the Al-Qur'an by female students at the Ma'hadul Qur'an Islamic boarding school. one way to overcome this is through the strategy of the ustadzah. As with the ustadzah at the Boyolali Ma'hadul Qur'an Islamic boarding school. The role of Ustadzah is needed by female students who memorize the Al-Qur'an. So it is important for Ustadzah to apply strategies that can increase the memorization of female students. The aims of this study were (1) to describe Ustadzah's strategy in increasing the memorization of the Al-Qur'an by female students at the Ma'hadul Qur'an Islamic boarding school. (2) To identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Ustadzah in increasing the memorization of the Al-Qur'an by female students at the Ma'hadul Qur'an Boyolali Islamic boarding school. The type of research used is field research which is qualitative in nature. In this study using a phenomenological approach. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. There are data analysis techniques with data triangulation techniques. The results of the study showed that (1) the strategy used by Ustadzah at the Ma'hadul Qur'an Boyolali Islamic boarding school was by means of Muroja'ah Strategy and Deposit Strategy (2) There were 3 Supporting Factors, namely: Santriwati who had mastered tajwid knowledge, Age of Santriwati the ideal, Management and Time Allocation. While the 3 supporting factors are: There is a feeling of laziness from the female students, there is a different intelligence from the female students, Lack of motivation from the female students.
