Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the forms of declarative, interrogative and imperative implicatures in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast and (2) explain the relevance of declarative, interrogative and imperative implicatures in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast as a module for teaching Indonesian in junior high schools. This research is a language research in the field of pragmatics using a qualitative descriptive research type. The object in this research is conversational implicature. The implicature in question is the implied meaning contained in Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube podcast. The data collection technique used in this study is the note-taking method. The data analysis used is a conversational analysis technique using the agih method. The results of this study explained that the utterances in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast hosted by Deddy Corbuzier and sources (Habib Jafar and Onad) found as many as 28 implicatures (in the form of 9 declarative implicatures, 13 interrogative implicatures, and 6 imperative implicatures). The forms of declarative, interrogative, and imperative implicatures in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast can be linked as teaching modules for learning Indonesian for students in junior high school class IX in phase D elements (Speaking and Presenting) and (Writing) with learning outcomes "Students are able to express and present discussion text information in the form of pro and con opinions on actual problems critically" and "Students are able to write ideas, thoughts, views, directions or written messages on pro and con opinions as well as solutions to actual problems in discussion texts logically, critically , and creative”.
