Abstract
School challenges in the field of SIM-based education administration have not been maximized so it is hoped that education can be managed with modern education management in the millennial century. Schools or madrasahs are faced with a highly sophisticated environment and very dynamic changes and must make decisions quickly and precisely as policy makers. World civilization that has developed and advanced in Information Technology and as a tool to transfer the required information data and has entered into new norms and values in the community. There is still a manual education administration system in several Islamic schools whose background is modern and the need for digital-based administrative arrangements. This study aims to determine the implementation of SIM-based education administration at MTs PPMI Assalaam Sukharjo and at SMP Birrul Walidain Sragen and determine the results of the implementation of SIM-based education administration in increasing the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities in 2022. The research method used is phenomenological qualitative method. The instrument here is the researcher himself. The subjects in this study were the principal, vice principal, driver's license operator, homeroom teacher and teaching teacher. While the object of research is the SIM the school. Data collection techniques and procedures in this study were carried out through three ways, namely, interviews, observations and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of SIM in MTs Assalaam using php/MySQL Website and SIM implementation in SMP Birrul Walidain using Office 365 and CBT with problems including SIM content that has not been integrated with other systems and the competence of educators and educators in operating SIM is still lacking. The solution carried out by the madrasah and school is to update and upgrade the SIM system and training educators and education personnel in the use of the SIM application. Then the implementation results that the SIM in MTs Assalaam provides increased effectiveness in teaching and learning activities which include activities in the classroom and outside the classroom and school examination activities at the grade 9 level. Meanwhile, the implementation of SIM at Birrul Walidain Junior High School generally reaches school exams. However, for education administration, especially in the classroom, KBM activities using a SIM have not been maximized and are in the development stage and will begin to be implemented.
