Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of independent learning in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta in building the character of 21st Century students. The formulation of the problem 1. How is the analysis of the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta? 2. What is the character of the students in learning PAI and Budi Pekerti at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta 3. How is the problem of character building students at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta in learning PAI and Budi Pekerti. This type of research is a qualitative research approachphemonelogisWhile the method used is a qualitative field method (filed research) with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used in this study is qualitative data analysis. The results of the research show that the learning process of PAI and Budi Pekerti at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta has implemented independent learning-based curriculum learning in the factors of forming student character at school. The independent learning curriculum focuses on establishing a learning atmosphere, conveying learning objectives, student-centered learning, effective classroom management, learning methods, learning evaluation. To shape the character of students who are expected in learning PAI and Moral Character.
