Abstract

Pregnancy is a stressful life experience for a woman, from different cases it is characterized not only by stress, but also by physical changes and mental experiences. Despite many scientific advances on physical and psychological health issues during pregnancy. However, psychological is still the main problem encountered by pregnant women. This study aims to determine the psychological of pregnant women at the Kartasura Health Center. Samples of 55 pregnant women were obtained using incidental sampling data collection techniques. In this study, the EPDS (Edinburgh Postpartum Depression/Perinatal Depression Scale) questionnaire was used in an Indonesian translation consisting of 10 questions. The results of the survey, the psychological situation of pregnant women at the Kartasura Health Center found that 15 respondents (27.3%) pregnant women experienced a possibility psychological depression problems, and 40 respondents (72.3%) did not experience psychological depression problems.
