Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a decrease in the immune system and SpO2 levels in the community, knowledge of consuming herbal medicines to increase immunity is still minimal, so this affects the quality of health during a pandemic. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge regarding the consumption of herbal packages (honey, VCO, Black Seed) and checking oxygen saturation in the community when exposed to Covid-19. This research method uses a cross-sectional research design. The sample in this study was the people of the Boyolali Regency area, with random sampling, and obtained as many as 45 respondents. The results of this study found that the majority of respondents with a sufficient level of knowledge were 17 respondents (53.3%). Most of the SpO2 examinations were normal for 29 respondents (64.4%). Most of the level of knowledge is sufficient with a normal SpO2 examination as many as 17 respondents (37.8%). Statistical test results showed that the level of knowledge of consuming herbal medicines was related to SpO2 examination, so that a p-value of 0.042 was obtained (p <0.05). The conclusion from this study is that the level of knowledge regarding the consumption of herbal medicines is related to the SpO2 examination in the community when exposed to Covid-19.
