Abstract

Poverty occurs as a result of underdevelopment of humans and natural resources. Natural resource management is more dependent on human productivity. The large number of poor people and low levels of education, this can lead to a lack of technical skills, knowledge, and entrepreneurial activity which automatically leads to neglect, underdevelopment or even abuse of existing natural resources. This study aims to determine the Effects of the contribution of GRDP in the agricultural, mining, industrial, export and population growth rates on the poverty rate in the province of South Kalimantan in 2019-2021 by using a panel data regression analysis tool with the Fixed Effects Model (FEM) approach. The results showed that exports had a positive Effects on poverty levels in South Kalimantan Province, while the contribution of GRDP in agriculture, mining, industry and population growth rates had no Effects on poverty levels in South Kalimantan Province.
