Abstract

Education is an instrument used by human to continue their life both as individual or community. Pandemi as a consequence of COVID-19 has occured for education sector because govenment had limit public mobility. Mobility limitation has been make learning system which usually in school, transfered in remote or in network using electronic media. It held to prevent COVID-19 dissemination in Sragen regency. In this study, it discusses the policies of Religion Ministry with Education and Cultural Department of Sragen Regency about the Implementation of Islam Religion Subject in Pandemic Period. The objective of this research is to know the policy and implementation of Islam education subject in Religion Ministry and the Education and Cultural Department of Sragen Regency in pandemic period. Method of this research uses qualitative research paradigm and phenomenologic approach, that is to approach the problem in deep as a phenomena. This research obtained that the policies of Religion Departement and Education and Culture Department of Sragen Regency in arranging the implementation of teaching and learning activities in Islam Religion Subject in pandemic period is based on Mutual Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Indonesian Republic and the Circulars related with the application and guidance of direct teaching implementation in Covid-19 pandemi period. It is also based on the Decree of Education and Culture Minister of Republic Indonesia on the guidance of curriculum implementation in education unit in specific circumstances. The implementation of Religion Minister policy and the Education and Culture Minister Decree of Sragen Regency is based on the adjustment of policy compiled by the Religion Department of Sragen Regency following the Decree of Education and Culture Ministry No. 719/P/2020. The results of finding from the research from the two institutions are related.
