Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Financial Performance of the company PT Semen Gresik Tbk for 2019-2021 period when measured using the Market Value Added (MVA) method. This type of research is Quantitative Research, The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors that produce cement for contruction materials listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the research sample is PT Semen Gresik Tbk for the 2019-2021 period. The data collection technique is using the documentation method and in the form of PT Semen Gresik Tbk’s annual financial reports for the 2019-2021 period. The company’s financial performance measurement method is based on value creation using the MVA method. The results of the study show that the MVA value > 0 is the market value of the company PT Semen Gresik Tbk for the 2019-2021 period, which is greater than the invested capital, which means that the company is able to create profits and can increase profits. With this, the financial performance of PT Semen Gresik Tbk for the 2019-2021 period can be said to be good.
