Abstract
Employees are a valuable asset in the company, the company's success is built and achieved through quality employees. The challenge that is happening in the company today is how the company maintains employees who have good performance and have high productivity that can help the company achieve its goals and targets, and be able to compete with other companies. The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of social capital and work involvement on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. Respondents in this study were 100 people who conducted an online survey using the Google form. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Test the validity and reliability using smart PLS analysis on the outer model. Hypothesis testing uses the outer model and inner model of smartPLS. The results showed that social capital has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work involvement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and organizational commitment partially mediates the relationship between social capital and work involvement on employee performance.
