Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of lecturers' teaching skills, and the activeness of learning in class on learning outcomes in the Accounting Education course for trade companies, students of Accounting Education class of 2017, Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative research method. The research design is a survey design. The population in this study were students of class 2017 at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, totaling 276 students. The sample for this research was 155 students from 7 classes in the FKIP Accounting Study Program class of 2017. The data collection technique in this study was the questionnaire method. In this study using multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 and using Relative Contribution (SR) and Effective Contribution (SE). The results of the t-test for teaching skills of lecturers are 6.410 while the t-table is 1.976. This proves that the variable of teaching skills of lecturers has an influence on learning outcomes in the course of Accounting Education for Accounting Education students class of 2017 Muhammadiyah University Surakarta. Class Learning Activeness is 3.440 while ttable is 1.976, so there is Learning Activeness that has a significant influence on individual student learning outcomes. From the results of the F test analysis, Fcount = 43.436 > Ftable = 3.056, so there is an influence of teaching skills of lecturers and active learning in the classroom on learning outcomes in the course of Accounting Education for Accounting Education students class of 2017 Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta.
