Abstract
From the pandemic's beginning until early 2022, everything had been conducted online. This condition somehow initiates various bad habits that are affecting current offline learning. Indeed, during the process of adapting back to these not-so-new standards, many high school students experience difficulties and a lack of motivation to participate in their academics. It can trigger academic stress. Academic stress on students can be reduced by increasing their ability to self-regulate their learning process (self-regulated learning) and increasing their tough personality (hardiness). This research aims to model the relationship between self-regulated learning and hardiness toward students’ academic stress during post-pandemic learning. This quantitative research was involving 286 students from SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro with the age range of14 to 18 years old. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. The standardized scale questionnaires being used are as follows self-regulation in learning, hardiness scale and academic stress scale. The result showed that self-regulated learning and hardiness are correlated to academic stress following the model: Academic stress =56,686+0,066∙Self-regulated learning −0,334∙Hardiness. On other hand, self-regulated learning is partially not correlated to academic stress. But, in the other side hardiness is correlated partially to academic stress.
