Abstract

Analisis Muatan HOTS (High Order Thingking Skill) Pada Instrumen Penilaian Akhir Semeseter (PAS) Semester Genap Mata Pelajaran Matematika Kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali. Skripsi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The purpose of this study was to identify and obtain information on the characteristics of the HOTS items for the Mathematics Subject assessment instrument in the PAS Even Semester Class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali essays 2020. This research is a qualitative descriptive research type of document analysis. The document to be analyzed is an official document, namely the PAS instrument document for the Even Semester of Mathematics Subject Class VIII at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The validity of the data was carried out with the degree of confidence (credibility), Transferability, Dependability, triangulation data (Source Triangulation, Method Triangulation, and Investigator Triangulation), and Cohen's Kappa Coefficient Reliability Test. Data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 categories of thinking skills in the PAS instrument text for Even Semester Mathematics Subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali in 2020, namely LOTS, MOTS, and HOTS. The characteristics of the HOTS type items contained in the PAS instrument for Even Semester Mathematics Subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali in 2020 in this study are 2 characteristics, the HOTS type questions measure higher-order thinking skills and the HOTS type questions with contextual problem-based applications. The results of the Cohen's Kappa coefficient reliability test of the research instrument obtained k values of 0.716 and 0.580 indicating the PAS test instrument for the even semester of Mathematics Class VIII based on HOTS at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali is a good agreement (strong agreement) and is in accordance with the Cognitive realm of Revised Bloom's Taxonomy, and has consistency with the category of good or good.
