Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-concept and social class on hedonistic behavior in students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design, which was carried out in the PPKn Study Program FKIP UMS. Respondents were 76 students. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. Data analysis with multiple linear regression. The results of the hypothesis prove that self-concept and social class together influence hedonism behavior, namely the F-count value of 13.347> 3.120 and a significance of 0.001 <0.05. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, the R Square value of 0.268 means that the ability of the self-concept and social class variables in explaining the hedonistic behavior variable is 26.8% and 73.2% due to other factors not examined in this study.
