Abstract
Subjective well being or individual well-being is a view of individual life satisfaction said to be good if they are able to provide good assessments of cognitive, affective, and life satisfaction. Included in the cognitive assessment are the individual's desire to change his life, the individual's satisfaction with his life now, in the past, and in the future. While a good affective evaluation if the individual generates more positive affect such as happiness, enthusiasm, interest, determination, passion, ideas and inspiration, alert, active, strong, proud and attentive. As well as holistic life satisfaction consisting of health, spirituality, work, and finances. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government implemented a policy regarding the implementation of an online learning system or study from home in order to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19 in the school area, but this actually caused obstacles and problems faced by teachers that had an impact on individual satisfaction and welfare. This study aims to describe the extent of the welfare of elementary school teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The participants of this study were three elementary school teachers who did Work From Home, were over 30 years old, and taught at a school far from the city. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive narrative approach. The results of the interviews were then analyzed using a descriptive theme developed in the form of a narrative as described by Creswell, J.W (2010). From the results of this study found as many as four descriptive themes. Of the four themes, there are two cognitive evaluation themes, one affective evaluation theme and a holistic life satisfaction theme consisting of health, spirituality, work, and finances. The conclusion of this study shows that two of the three subjects stated that negative life assessments were still dominant, so that subjective well being was still not optimal enough.
