Abstract
The position of the Notary Deed in the Sale and Purchase Binding Agreement/PPJB of Land Rights at the Notary Office / PPAT Surakarta contains the bindingagreement for the sale and purchase of land rights between the seller and the buyer based on the Notary Deed of Notary / PPAT in Surakarta generally discusses the rights and responsibilities which is made in writing. PPJB is carried out as an agreement between the seller and the buyer as a preliminary agreement with the aim of binding the parties first. The formulation of the problem in this study is what is the form and content of the Land Purchase Agreement (PPJB) made by a notary and how is the position of the notary deed in binding the sale and purchase of land rights at the Notary and PPAT Surakarta. The method used by the author is normative juridical, namely by examining the form and content of the binding agreement on the sale and purchase of land rights between the seller and the buyer based on the Notary Deed/PPAT in Surakarta and the position of the notary deed in binding the sale and purchase of land rights at the Surakarta notary. The results that can be concluded from this study are that the contents of the binding agreement on the sale and purchase of land rights between the seller and the buyer have met the legal requirements as stipulated in Article 1320 of the Civil Code.
