Abstract
BPJS Health is a form of insurance or health insurance that can be used by all Indonesian people. In addition to low premium fees, registration is also quite easy. In its implementation, there are still shortcomings in the implementation of BPJS Health in Indonesia which are not in line with people's expectations. There were even cases where BPJS Kesehatan patients were neglected or rejected by the hospital. Another problem is the membership status of BPJS Health patients if they are in arrears in payment of contributions and legal protection for BPJS Health patients to overcome unfulfilled claims. This study aims to see and find out how the loyalty status of BPJS Health patients is when they are in arrears in payment of contributions and legal protection for BPJS Health patients to overcome unfulfilled claims. From this research, it is found that if the participant cannot pay the premium there are consequences and how to overcome them. for now it is not only class 3 participants who are in arrears, it is on average that class 1 and 2 participants are in arrears in payment of contributions. Regarding legal protection for patients, it has been guaranteed by the State that every citizen must have the same rights in obtaining access to resources in the health sector and obtaining health services that are safe, quality, and affordable. Here the Health Service as a supervisor in the health sector must act fairly in carrying out health services, not discriminating between services for BPJS and Non BPJS patients. In addition, the legal protection itself can be divided into preventive legal protection and repressive legal protection.
