Abstract
Mental health disorders are a global and national public health problem. WHO in 2016 stated that there were about 35 million affected by depression, 60 million affected by bipolar, 21 million affected by schizophrenia, and 47.5 million affected by dementia. Regional Soul of Surakarta City in 2019 there were 3814 outpatient visits while inpatient visits were 2913 patients. For the number of outpatients in December 2020, there were 3289 patients. Objectives: The general objective of this study was to describe patient satisfaction with outpatient services at the Surakarta Mental Hospital. Research Methods: The research used is descriptive quantitative research with accidental sampling technique. Research Results: Characteristics of respondents in the study obtained that most of the respondents have a range of more than 50 years (Elderly), most are female, the last education level is SMA/SMK, length of suffering is less than 5 years, the majority of respondents receive intense care. Most of the descriptions of satisfaction with outpatient services at RSJD Surakarta are in the category of satisfied when given the service at the outpatient installation. Conclusion: the description of patients in outpatient services at RSJD Surakarta is satisfied.
